D-Boy (& not a dough boy!)

D-Boy, is a London-Toronto-Mumbai based Entertainment professional, including a strong background in music production. He founded and manages record company Beatcircle as well as co-founding the non-profit organization Beatcircle London Sound.

D-Boy first started programming music from a small loft in his family home in London, and started practicing song ideas with his two younger brothers, Shabz and Sef. Shabz went on to join the So Solid Crew and is now Head of A&R for Rocnation Europe, and Sef partnered with music producer K1 and formed The Reelists signed to Go Beat Records, currently part of L.B.E. (London Boy Entertainment). After various music projects including involvement with solo R&B artist Sharifa, Labels Sony BMG, his songwriting collective with Sharifa and Chirs Marsac (Terrence Trent D’arby) won ‘Best Song’ for the British Academy Of Composers & Songwriters in 2005.
