I am a traveler, a trailblazer, and a lover of all things loving.
I am the Founder/President of SisterLove, the first women’s HIV, Sexual & Reproductive Justice organization in the US. In 1999, I established SisterLove International South Africa in Johannesburg. They say I am a recognized visionary and advocate in the struggle for human rights along with communities of women and girls of African descent worldwide. I say I am servant of my purpose, which is to create space people need to make change happen, and to put the right people in the space to get it done. I am the producer/host of a 27 year old radio program called "Sisters' Time/WomenSpeak" on WRFG 89.3FM in Atlanta and on wrfg.org. I love hosting fellow travelers and guests to OriginAlignment, my home in Johannesburg, South Africa. When I am not out movement building and challenging injustice, I spend most of my time exploring music, reading cool stuff, practicing mindfulness and laughing with my funny supersmart dog Mzansi!
