David’s love of Reggae and Ska music started at the age of 12 when he first heard The English Beat’s “I Just Can’t Stop It”. He was hooked. A couple of years after this he picked up a guitar and started his first band “MI5” with some neighborhood friends playing mod/ska classics as well as original material. In 1986 David joined Let’s Go Bowling and set his life on a musical path. His time in LGB allowed him perform with some of his heroes including, The Selecter, Bad Manners and The Specials.

David moved to San Francisco in 1995 and continued his musical career with Radio Noise, The Playtonics (formerly THC) and The Impalers. He currently lives in the Richmond district of San Francisco with his wife and is very excited to be back in the Fresno music scene.
