After leaving school with no qualifications, I got O and A levels by private study and worked as a library assistant for Lambeth Libraries. I went to Bedford College, University of London and studied philosophy there between 1971 and 1974. Between 1975 and 1976 I went to library college in Ealing. I have worked in many libraries including Brixton, West Norwood, The London Library and the English Library at King Faisal Air Academy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. After returning from Saudi Arabia in 1987, I couldn't get work in a libary but I eventually got work in a records management role at Amoco and stayed there for ten years. I was made redundant in 1999 due to the merger with BP. I have had a few temp jobs since then but I still hope for some long term work. I amuse myself writing and arranging music and uploading this to www.scoreexchange.com and www.soundcloud.com. I also have videos of myself playing guitar and attempting to sing at www.youtube.com.
