BIOGRAPHY :

David Langlois was born in Paris, France, where he took up the drum set at age fifteen.
At 21, he was hired as a full time musician to play washboard and drum set. He then, invented his signature washboard instrument, and polished his unique percussion technique.

In 1994, David founded his own band, "The Sun Side Jazz Band", performing numerous concerts throughout Europe and released two albums.

In 2003, after several trips in and around Africa where he learned how to play the Djembe , David moved to New York to play intensively with Stephane Wrembel's Trio, The Blue Vipers Of Brooklyn and Steve Adelson.

Since then, he had collaborated with Bette Midler, Paul Mc Cartney, Les Paul, David Grisman, Paquito D' Rivera, Mike Marshall, Angelo Debarre, Dorado Schmitt, Roger Kellaway…

David performs regularly in some of the great venues and festivals around the world, so far his recording work includes collaborations in 15 Albums, 3 DVDs and 4 Movies
