I came to Lincoln in 1960 as a toddler and have a long association with the city as a nurse, charity worker, union steward and family man. I have lived in Bunker's Hill since 1998. I have represented nurses at local, regional and national level. I have also been involved in a number of governmental committees involved in patient care.

Having retired from the NHS I now have some time to be out there for people.

I have always believed in speaking up for the residents of Lincoln and Lincolnshire. The time has come for local people to have new local services run by local people and for those services to truly meet the needs of local people and not pander to old dogmas. Safer streets, cleaner open spaces and better housing are on my agenda if elected. I will push for better local facilities for the people of Lincoln, including places for families to meet and safe areas for youngsters to congregate. I believe everyone has the right to a better life and a right to be able to work
