Jazzin The Funk..A nod to The Jazzifunk club from back in the day. David’s musical journey started in 1978, born in Hackney North London he frequented night clubs in his local area such as Cubies, The Norfolk Arms and The Royalty. The following year in 1979 he graduated to Crackers Friday afternoon club sessions and the evening sessions on Sunday’s.
Being an avid Jazz funker he would go on to Spats, the 100 Club, the Horseshoe and later the Electric Ballroom for his dose of Funk, Jazz Funk and Fusion. Big influences on his music are George Power, Andy Hunter, Paul Trouble Anderson, Paul Murphy, Colin & Boo and Mr Terry Jones.
In the 80’s David’s scene was very much into creating private parties and Djing over London. David’s musical interests cover P-Funk, Funk, Soul, Disco, Jazz, Latin Jazz, Jazz Funk, Fusion and Soulful House.
