After eight nomadic years of living from a body-sized suitcase named Letitia, D. J. Swales - an unrepentant adventurer and history, nature and folklore nerd - shares his Gothic horror, travel memoirs and poetry. These works were written in scores of countries, in smoke-stained cafes, gas stations, 711 stores, decaying hotels, railway stations, an ISIS transit town in Anatolia and on tour with the bands Die Antwoord and Eagles of Death Metal. DJ and Letitia also journeyed through North Africa and the Middle East during the Arab Spring, for a poetry project.
