Blue Oytser Kult

Bellingrad, Washington, United States

Blue Oytser Kult is an avant-garde crowbar ("old bluey") cracking wide the vault of Eastern European and Jewish musical treasures. The show's name comes from the Yiddish word for "treasure" (אוצר), which, when written in English, looks like a typo & rhymes with "Kreutzer."

Here are some of the show's early reviews:

“[H]ear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host” -- II Kings, 7:6

“Listen, a noise on the mountains, like that of a great multitude!” -- Isaiah 13:4

"The noise of battle is in the land, the noise of great destruction! How broken and shattered is the hammer of the whole earth!" -- Jeremiah 50:22-23
