Longbeard is a vehicle for the songs of David Burns, a singer-songwriter working from Studio City, CA.

The band officially released their debut EP “The Tide” on indie-imprint Luckywhiteboymusic on July 19, 2011.

The EP, created in conjunction with NYC-based, Emmy-nominated engineer Paul Klimson (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Roots, John Legend), and musician Shane Bordeau, is quintessentially 21st century in its blend of pop, rock, and electronic genres— with a decidedly California glow.
