Bournemouth, United Kingdom
Being slightly too young for the 'first phase' of UK acid house, I was nonetheless hooked by the music and, living close enough to London to receive pirate stations like Centreforce and Sunrise, made enough pocket money selling tapes around school to save for a pair of Technics.
The early 90s were spent running Essex record shops, putting on parties at the iconic Roller Express and Sanctuary venues, working with legendary nutter Guru Josh and DJing anywhere that would have me.
Life since the mid 90s has been sunny Bournemouth, where a thriving underground scene exists to this day.
Co-running club nights such as Special Branch have been some of the best times with the best people, evolving into underground party crew 'The LPP', where we've staged some of the most exclusive and secretive parties and mini-festivals over the past few years.
Since 2000 I've been working with Glastonbury Festival, currently with official radio station Worthy FM.
