This is the bit where I try to make myself sound fascinating and fail miserably, so here goes… Born in Darlington and lived here all me life. Decent education. Love music but never had the commitment to master any instrument to any degree of proficiency. I have managed / promoted bands but never really wanted to be centre stage. Anyone who can get up there and turn out a half decent racket has my total admiration. Likewise, stand up comedians, you must have some bottle to be able to do that! Worked in retail for many years before making the switch into mental health at 40 and work with a good bunch of people.
