Ex-teacher and courier, I then worked with adults with acquired brain injuries (ABI) in the private sector until retirement in 2017.
In the late 1960s and early 1970s, I played bass guitar in rock and blues bands, but listened to any decent music. In the late 1990s I was persuaded to help out at a local "folk club" - really an anything goes music session.
I still play various guitars and have tried, unsuccessfully so far due to time constraints, to learn to play bodhran, fiddle, melodeon, autoharp and mandolin.
