Some sounds would exist regardless of life, and despite isolation and sheer credibility, some artists continue to grow and inspire, regardless of hype. Dave Betamax has been producing and DJing since 2001, covering almost every genre that the bass spectrum has to offer, from IDM to Jungle and everywhere in between. Smut + Bass Records was founded by Dave in 2009 to give unique musicians a medium to express themselves.
