DJ for 54 years this year. Started with equipment made in school woodwork classes with my school chum Colin Hood! Went and asked for a job at the Central R&B Club in Gillingham in 1972 (I saw nothing to lose) and got the job as the warm up jock to Satch Patterson & Dave 'Mungo' Parks... and never looked back. Worked many if not all of the Medway Nightclubs over the next 15 years. Got a reputation for playing good soul imports as soon as they were released. Joined EMI in 1975 and then RCA for 1 year in 1983 doing promotion work. Always kept the jocking up and worked through agencies up to 2008. After a life changing few years resulting in the loss of my beautiful wife Jo to the big 'C', I was encouraged to get back into broadcasting in May 2021 by my good mate 'DJ Do It All', Kev Edwards. Loving life again with my new soul mate Elaine & hound to die for, Frankie. Joined Stomp Radio June 2021 & Crackers Radio July 2022. Now with the utimate... Solar Radio from Sept 2023! Lovin' Life!
