In Germany's Ruhr area nothing gets past Dash.
In the 90’s he was one of the pioneers of the scene, progressing quickly from partygoer to record dealer, and finally in famous locations like Club Trinidad he started his DJ career which would take him firstly through the local and nationwide club and festival scene and then across all of Europe.
For 25 years he has helped shape “Juicy Beats”, the biggest electronic music festival in the region and is a resident for “Soul In Motion” at Rotunde Bochum.. As the creator of the “Vinyl Asyl” radio-show he provides one of the few artist led broadcasts on the German radio landscape. As a member of several collectives he is the initiator of the famous “Subport” Drum and Bass events.
Dash a.k.a. Steffen Korthals is also working as a booker, journalist and writer in club culture.
Musically Dash is most famous for his powerful delivery of Drum & Bass, but he has also taken dancers on a journey through the greater reaches of Techno and House.
