Although Darryl Grant was born in Oakland, California, the experience he had in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was a major turning point in his life. While living there he had the good fortune to record with legendary greats such as The Rolling Stones, Eddie Kendricks, Blue Magic, Major Harris and Fat Larry’s Band to name a few. Before relocating to Las Vegas, he moved back to the Bay Area and did a short stint there with The Natural Four.

For the past ten years Darryl has performed with the vocal group Spectrum, a Las Vegas Motown Tribute group performing in the States as well as internationally. In addition to headlining on Royal Caribbean cruises, they work the Symphony "Pops" Circuit.

Gaining popularity in the UK with the release of his debut solo cd "All I Need Is You Tonight", Darryl spent over three months on Starpoint Radio's UK Top 30 Soul Chart. During that time he remained in the Top 10 for more than a month, spending two consecutive weeks in the #5 position!
