Darren Johnson, AKA “Darren J” is a producer and DJ based in London. He creates, mixes and performs electronic dance music, including tech house and amalgamations of other genres.

Starting his career as a Drum and Bass DJ in East London for the pirate radio Rush FM 92.3, he also performed on Underground FM which hosted the likes of DJ Zinc, MC Rage of Chase & Status, to name a few. Darren J moved on to creating his own tracks, drawing his inspiration from the 90’s Acid House era, Drum and Bass and House. Influenced by his roots and upbringing in Hackney, he currently produces and DJ’s Tech House sounds that fit well in festivals as well as dance floors.

Darren J is definitely someone to look out for on the London Tech House scene.
