I was born in Poland and moved to the United States without speaking English, an experience that shaped my lifelong belief in music as a bridge between cultures. I grew up between both coasts, first in Boston and later Seattle, and both cities deeply shaped my musical identity. In Boston, I got my start in freeform college radio, immersed in everything from punk and jazz to experimental and global sounds.
For more than three decades I’ve hosted Wo’ Pop on KEXP while DJing clubs, festivals, and cultural events around the world. My work as a filmmaker, broadcaster, and cultural producer has taken me across Europe, Asia, North Africa, and the Middle East, experiences that constantly feed into my sets.
This Mixcloud is a reflection of that journey: global rhythms, deep electronics, psychedelic folk, rare grooves, and music without borders.
