Plimsoul is UK House/Tech-house producer of over 30 years Danny Mills. He started performing at an early age as a percussionist & keyboard player. He has played at Wembley arena - as well as playing drum-kit, gaining knowledge and perfecting his skills and abilities in many different genres, such as: Funk, Soul, Jazz, Blues, Pop and Dance music.
As a classically trained musician with a pedigree which includes a stint as drummer for ‘Edwin Starr’, Danny has worked in various roles within the music industry. Working for EMI & also at London based dance distributor, Amato & recently as A&R for dance music labels Element recordings & Layer 909 digital.
In the past year he has had several original releases and remixes on Element Recordings, Proud Runs Deep, Sounds of Juan, Bosh Recordings & forthcoming releases on Bid Muzik & One Thousand Wires Audio. As an accomplished Producer of Dance music he is most comfortable producing percussive, intelligent house that ‘honours’ the past.
