I'm Drum n Bass DJ and Producer, Hadron, aka Dan Jupp. Hailing from Kent, I always had a passion for music from an early age and was inspired by an eclectic mix of music. Ranging from 60's rock, 70's funk & soul, 80's electro and 80's and 90's dance, reggae, early hip-hop & gangster rap and much more. The reggae / hip-hop infused sounds of Jungle, being my earliest exposure to DnB, got me hooked. Tracks like "Scotty", "Super Sharp Shooter", "Ricky", "Blud-clot-art-attack", "Lighter" and "Valley of Shadows" to name but a few were always firm favourites. This fuelled the desire to learn to mix on vinyl turntables and start collecting records. Embracing the darker sounds of late 90's tech-step and Neurofunk, with the likes of Bad Company "The Pulse", "Four Days", also RAM classics such as "No Reality", "Time Chamber", "Milky Way", not forgetting Ed Rush and Optical with their seminal masterpiece: Wormhole LP, regarded by many as the best DnB album of all time!
