Dan Elliot is originally from the East coast of Canada but made the move to Japan in 1998. Four years after coming to Japan he opened the legendary Oasis Lounge in Osaka where he honed his skills and found his sound. From the incredible success of the "Oasis Lounge Sound" came many opportunities for Dan. As well as having his mixes featured on world-famous Frisky Radio, his live sets came into great demand taking him all over Japan and Thailand. Following the success of Oasis Lounge, Dan started Oasis Radio which has become the most popular internet radio station featuring edm in Japan and "Progressions with Dan Elliot" continues to be one of the most listened to shows on the Oasis Radio schedule.
His live sound has progressed over the years from progressive house and tribal to tech house & techno, with a recent shift in focus to deep house. Dan Elliot's firm belief that music should be intelligent, inspiring and fun truly characterizes his passion for music and the way he plays.
