Dami Ruiz was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1992.
He grew up surrounded by different music styles like hip hop, rock ‘n roll and folk.
But when it comes to the electronic music, he is clearly influenced by the progressive sounds from well-known djs such as Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Martín García and Marcelo Vasami.
Dami started DJ’ing in 2011 playing in underground parties in the west of Buenos Aires. And because of his serious interest to learn, enthusiasm and dedication, he started appearing alongside names like Deep Mariano, Rich Curtis, Dale Middleton, Marcelo Vasami, Deepfunk, Stelios Vassiloudis, Danny Lloyd, Mike Griego and David Calo, inter alia.
Dami Ruiz is, nowadays, definitely a talent to be watched closely
