Busy and busier is the report for this update as I have been working with the Phever team to help promote the station and events, keeping up with the weekly shows, out playing live, plus had a mix selected as a competition winner. Overall not a bad couple of weeks at all!
Keep reading for all the details, plus make sure to check out the information on the Phever 5K taking place on Sunday 22nd May at St.Annes Park in aid of a fantastic cause.

ELECTRIC - THE GRAND SOCIAL 06.05.22
It was amazing to get the chance to play my first Phever event last Friday 06.05.22. The Grand Social Ballroom was a fantastic spot for a club night and a big shout out to everyone who came along and danced with us until the early hours.
I was up first with the opening set (and was absolutely bricking it LOL!) and after the first couple of tracks really settled into it and had a ball. It had been a long time since my last gig and I had forgotten how much of a buzz it was to get up and share music with a crowd.
We had short notice to get this event up and running and tickets moved fast. We are working on future events already and I’m looking forward to sharing more information with you shortly on what we have planned plus the chance to nab tickets early next time.
Big shout out to all the DJs on the night who smashed it and had the venue rocking, looking forward to spinning with you all again soon!

THE DJ MIXTAPE APRIL WINNER.
The good news has kept on coming with finding out I was selected as one of the winners of THE DJ MIXTAPE April mix contest.
I’m really honoured that my mix was given the stamp of approval by such a knowledgeable team and I really appreciate the kind words on the mix.
All the winning mixes can be seen here: https://www.thedjmixtape.com/dj-competition-april-2022/.

“ Damien is from Dublin, Ireland and for April he’s sent us through a mind blowing mix of electronic cuts, blended nicely into an epic 1 hour mix. It’s full of both energy and melancholy, with thoughtful track selection and amazing transitions. You can catch Damien live every Saturday night on www.Phever.ie Radio.”
