My good friends Joby and Gully introduced me to Beat mixing House and Break beat Vinyl around 1994. Before you know it i had a killer set up at my house and hosted a heap of after parties that went on sometimes for a few days. This is where I honed my skills, Played out in local clubs a few times and loved it, but never saw it as a career. I would of played for free, I was in love with the music.
In 2000 I moved away from the scene when I relocated for work. It was regional and the clientele was strictly rock and roll and shit top forty pop music.
I went out about 5 times in 11 years in that godforsaken town. Eventually sold my entire set up and gave my vinyl collection to Joby and Gully where at least it would be used and played out in clubs.
After a relationship ended i moved back to perth in 2011 and got back into it. The escape and therapy it gave me cant be put into words and the music was brilliant.
My tastes had changed towards a Dark Deep and Tech house. Hope you enjoy.
