Started spinning records back in 1981 and professionally in 1983. Was lucky enough to catch the end of a great post disco era in music. I have no style, not the body of a Greek god or a cool hairdo. Can't really say I have talent.
But I have a passion of working up the crowd, throw them a few surprises and make them scream. My approach is really just playing whatever comes to mind so you don't really know what you get.
Stopped DJ-ing while the world was in love with CDs. Came back once I was convinced this could be done using a computer. Now I mostly use Ableton Live and time coded Vinyl/CD.
I DJ every weekend, local clubs in Reykjavik and corporate gigs. Share a body with a person who is an old school music business guy with a great sense of tech.
