Raised on the South Side of Chicago at a time when Disco was banging in the late 70s and early 80s until a hybrid of disco was born and evolved to become what the world knows today as House Music. As a teenager going to clubs such as the Playground/Candy Store, The Power Plant, The Music Box, The Ascot Hotel, The Bizmarck Hotel, Medusa's, Mendel Bi-Level, as a dancer of the "Undercover Boys House dance troupe, DJ Rob has now become Da Hitslinger aka DJ Mr Rob.
As a member of "Bedroom Boys" DJ group of Western Illinois University, I spent time honing my skills as a DJ, going on to spin in various clubs and events around Chicago. Playing genres from Hip-Hop to Stepping, blues, House and Gospel.
Have been a member of Swagger Squad Ent. worked with The Firm Marketing Group, Greenleaf Ent. Bee Sting Ent. and Devo Ent. and A member of Nu Soul Collective Djs and Spinn Atl. 30 years as a DJ, dancer and singer!!
