Dan Droid is an Johannesburg & Cape Town based DJ and Entrepreneur.
Born in Jhb, South Africa, this Dutch/German sound perfectionist started his musical journey recording tracks from a popular local dance radio station in the early hours of the morning, editing and mixing via his dad’s Technics tape, Cd & Lp players at age 14.
This passion for music and electronics evolved into a unique understanding and ability to breakdown and analyze the acoustic properties and layering of music and instruments.
The end result being an aquired international sound filled with deep, minimilistic driving techno sound.
