Cynnic is a Wellington based DJ often found lurking behind the decks in grimey bars and raves around the city. Years of setting up sound systems st gigs, running cables and a stint in a corporate job has left him more cynical than ever and his need to unleash on the decks is palpable.

It becomes obvious when you hear him play, that he draws inspiration from his love of sound and a background in music production. Always on the hunt for that sound, groove or tone.

A firm believer in underground purism and a proud ambassador for the techno genre, with a style that is intelligent, energetic and driving. A sound that's been brewed and distilled over the years. Played out and bunker parties, underground raves and club nights at Laundry Bar, Love not Lost and Shed 6.

His passion for techno seeps through his pores. Cynnic is constantly adapting, evolving and assimilating.
