Cyan Smiles, a basement DJ moved by music both in heart and soul.

During his early years, Cyan Smiles was best known for Ambient/Chill rooms in the Kansas City Area along with his radio show Sonic Farming on KSDB 90.1 in Manhattan, KS (while studying at KSU).

Cyan Smiles created, hosted and produced Sonic Framing as DJ Friendly together with *DJ Vince Mulenga from Summer of '92 until mid '95 while also DJ'ing local events, small clubs, parties and following the music scene in the Midwest from KCMO, St Louis, Chicago, to Denver. Sonic Farming was one of the *1st Techno radio shows in the Midwest.

Early DJ influences: DJ Hyperactive, Plastikman, Mix Master Morris, DJ Skull, Dub Tribe, Future Sound of London, Orb, Autechre and many others.
