Oldest of Nine kids, between two families. There are six of us on my mom's side, and I have three more siblings on my dad's. I grew up in North Eastern Ohio as a Catholic, going to Catholic schools until my family started attending a non-denomoniational charismatic church when I was 14. That set me on a path to doing ministry. In college, where I studied theology, I became a Quaker, or rather realized that much of what I had already believed was Quakerly. Now I am a pastor at a Quaker meeting in Camas, Washington, a PhD Student at Fuller Seminary, a dad of 2 and a husband.
