Rumpelstilskin from Grimm’s fairy tales is just one of many alter egos that Igor Paunovic assumes on stage and it emerged in 2009. Flirting with numerous music genres both as a performer/vocal and producer, together with many years’ experience and ability to connect with audience is what makes this artist quite extraordinary. According to Igor, he is not a DJ, but a “musician with an artist’s block”, but that doesn’t prevent him from thinking about the mix, applying the effects, making remixes and spontaneously using his imagination and musical knowledge, thus managing to make a link between the situation on the dance floor and music. This artist literally engages himself in a child’s play with many music styles and genres such as micro-house, tech-house, deep-house, minimal and even nu disco; the entire fusion becomes an earworm, due to game and various mixing techniques, and it never leaves the audience unmoved.
