I’m Myles Southsea, a lifelong DJ and music curator based in Portsmouth. For me, music has always been about freedom, expression, and discovery.
Future Beats is a global-minded show blending spiritual jazz, house, soul, disco, broken beat, and electronic music, with space for spoken word and underground artistry.
Every episode is rooted in depth and emotion, offering listeners a journey without borders, featuring sounds in the spirit of AtJazz, Stacy Kidd, Charles Webster, Henrik Schwarz, Floating Points, and plenty of surprises along the way. It’s a place where borders disappear, because expression and freedom live in the beat.
Future Beats brings a spiritual dimension to Sundays: a weekly ritual to pause, recharge, and reset. It’s about creating space for reflection as well as celebration - music that uplifts the soul, moves the body, and carries listeners into a new week with openness and energy.
