Between acts like soul-jazz icon Roy Ayers, Detroit house/techno godfather Theo Parrish, legendary turntablist/beat junkie J-Rocc and Chicago house luminary Larry Heard, the Crown Ruler name has become synonymous with soulful underground music.

Over the past few years, Crown Ruler’s collaboration with the Red Bull Music in Australia has seen a groundbreaking series of music events come to fruition – just one of Crown Ruler’s many auspicious relationships with brands, venues, festivals and special events.

Our self-made festival Freedom Time has just seen it’s 6th appearance at Coburg Velodrome for another successful year of winter and summer events, always featuring Australian debut performances to ensure exciting and educational programming for their unique and intelligent audiences.
