Remembering back to the day when my brother played "Supernature" by Cerrone, I was hooked and a “househead was born”. I started mixing strictly club music in 1982, influenced by the likes of Tony Humphries, Larry Levan, Merlin Bobb, Timmie Regisford and many others. Spinning music with a few friends, in my parents’ basement, branched into playing a few reunions, college and block parties. In 1987 I went to college in TN, where the house seen was non-existent, so I would throw a little house in there for the NYC, Chicago heads. I have and always will be a “househead”. After college I strayed away from mixing music to pursue my career. Thanks to internet sites like Hands on Radio, I’ve met a lot of cool people and DJ's made me itch to start spinning again. I must credit my wife with my rebirth of mixing. Her insight, love and devotion led her to secretly acquire various pieces of DJ technology so I could once again bring my talents to the ones and twos.
