Crooked Pieces was founded in 2012 by Charlotte Donachie and Bethan Clark. Frustrated by the lack of female-written work currently produced in the UK (a mere 17%!), they decided to do something about it.
Based in London, the company produces and performs work by female writers, aiming to redress the balance and celebrate the female voice on stage.
As part of it's work, the company produces the comedy podcast And Then She Said A Funny Thing with Rachel Stroud and Louise Rickwood.
The show features bite-sized sketches, songs, spoken word and more from some of the funniest women writers around.
