SYNESTESIA – RAVENSBURG (1993–2020)
Synestesia was founded in 1993 in Ravensburg, Germany, emerging from the early days of the upcoming techno scene and local club culture.
A key element throughout the years was the strong inclusion of local DJs and emerging talent, complemented by occasional international artists from the techno, house, and adjacent electronic scenes. Collaborations with regional promoters and projects further expanded the network. Alongside the weekly format, Synestesia also hosted regular larger-scale weekend events featuring international guests. These nights placed a strong emphasis on atmosphere, including detailed decoration and a carefully curated crowd experience, setting them apart from standard club programming.
Synestesia remained a steady and integral part of Ravensburg’s electronic music culture.
