Music is driven by those who constantly push back the boundaries of musical exploration. They are the true renegades and therefore demand our respect.
I have learned that what is important in music is it's soul. Virtuosity for it's own sake is worthless and superficial. All the best music has 'soul' and takes us to a better place.
