Pianist and composer Cory Lavine started piano when he was nine years old. When he first started to play, he had a difficult time reading music and learned to play via Suzuki. He took six years of classical piano.
After graduating high school, he then toured across the country with a company called Young American Showcase. He played keyboards in a rock band playing Top 40 rock n' roll music in jr. & sr. high schools. Telling kids, they can accomplish their goals and dreams in life without the use of drugs and alcohol.
Cory later returned home where he received his BA in music and sociology in 1997. He then went back to school for recording and sound engineering, and then made his way to Nashville in September of 1998. His debut album, Out of the Blue, was released September 2015.
