Professor Xubberley is the owner and proprietor of the Corner Store, which opens for business every first Friday of the month at the Old House bar on Devonshire Street in Sheffield, from 10pm to 3am. The noted philanthropist plays a varied selection of dancing music and good-time sounds from across the ages to get your feet moving.

Much like your local, friendly shop, Corner Store has a bit of everything that you like. The Professor plays pop from every decade, funk, soul, electro, house, hip hop, blues, rock n roll, rock, indie and punk. If you want a particular item then he will be happy to place a special order for you and fetch it from the warehouse.

Why not pop in for a visit and enjoy an excellent cocktail or G& T from the bar and have a good dance. Just what the doctor ordered.
