Shaper took to the rave scene back in 1998 where he would soon discover his passion in music. He has always been involved in music having multiple musical family members including his father Wolfgang who preformed in a band called Dark Room into the early 80's when his son Cooper (WAV~SHAPER) was born.

Shaper really took to music buying his first cassette tapes, Slayer and Micheal Jackson, then later on Chris Shepard. Alway digging deeper into those bins for anything that sounded good, he began to really take to the underground electronic music and soon to see some inspiring DJ's that he now has the pleasure of working for/with.

Shaper bought some turntables in 2006 and practiced day, night, every hour, every minute, every chance he could. In 2007 he began playing in clubs, parties and festivals all over.
