"Locked in the Cellar" is true record radio. The kind where you can hear the dust being blown off the vinyl and the needle placed on the disc because that is part of the sound. it’s the kind of radio made you feel like you were the only person on the road, and the company your keeping is something that’s coming from your head. It’s creepy, beautiful, and feels like it’s from another time but not a time you can or don’t need to poinpoint.

It’s “lonely road radio” inspired as much by the smell of an open window and a stale carseat as it is by the sexploitation movies of the 60s and hymnals of the deep south.

It’s listening… but it’s not easy.
