I've been into the beat since I was a youngin. My folks raised me on a diet of funk, soul, rock, psychedelic rock, folk, pop, disco. Growing up in the Mississippi Delta put the blues into me. In 1982, I discovered hip hop for the first time, and I was 12. The following years were a storm of rhythmic addiction with the 80s putting a full-frontal assault on my senses. I was hooked. I still am...always.
