In the dying embers of 2012 a tired and frustrated producer realised it was time to try something different in order to overcome his creative block. It was time to get primitive. After spending several years attempting to create slick, sophisticated grooves he decided to embrace his limitations and turn them into a virtue. Out of these ideas emerged Ciao Fang, a new identity, a strange combination inspired in equal parts by house music and the creative endeavours of post-punk groups like Wire, Suicide and The Normal.
