Sterlington, La, United States

At the tender age of 19, I started working as a disc jockey at the campus radio station while attending Broadcasting classes at what was then known as Northeast Louisiana University. After graduation a long career in radio & TV began, as I worked as an announcer, program director & station manager of various mainstream radio stations in northeast Louisiana, including KNLU-FM, KLIC-AM (using on-air names "Cosmic Cowboy" and "Country Charlie"), KMLB-AM, KWEZ-FM, KXKZ-FM, KREB-FM, & Magic 106 (where I called myself "Hitman Halley".) During this time I also worked as an audio tech at KTVE-TV & returned to college, receiving my BA & MA degrees. After accepting Christ and discerning God's will for my life in the mid '90s, I worked in Christian radio for several years and started glory2glory productions, a Christian concert promotions agency. I now host a live '60s, '70s, & '80s rock 'n' roll requests show every Saturday night on LA 105.3 FM.
