Drummer, writer, and music producer Chuck Mays has been making music since he was a child. Chuck just completed his first solo music production project, The Modest Means Project (2011), which features various Bay Area hip-hop and R&B artist (Do D.A.T, K.E.V and…). Born and raised in San Francisco, Chuck Mays has a vast background in soul and jazz music, and plays the drums. His mentor was the late great jazz musician Billy Higgins who gave Chuck his first drum kit.
