electronic music collector & curator;
dj sets since 1998. Detroit, Chicago, NYC, Berlin & UK raw sounds. #vinyl
↳ In the 90s, I discovered electronic music (mainly underground), the world of radio, DJs and underground club culture and never looked back. I always wanted to work in radio, but life got in the way. My list of influences would be too long! But If I had to name a few labels: UR, Twisted America Records, Yositoshi, Bush, Kompakt, Strictly Rhythm, King Street, Glasgow Underground, Nu Groove, S12, Ibadan Recordings etc. Nowadays I’m a big fan of Classic Music Company, Mate Records, 803 Crystal Grooves, Heist Recordings, No Fuss Records, Wolf Music Recordings, Rawax, Chiwax, Housewax, Disco Disco… see? The list is endless!

For this mix, I wanted to create a very soulful house-oriented sonic journey with echoes of classic house, the Detroit techno sound, and the lightness and groove progressions of "nu-house".

Sadly, John Collins passed away a few months ago and I’d like to share some of his work as a member of UR, a radio host, a DJ, and an ambassador for the sound of Detroit.

“Forever Ravers” features tracks from 1997 to 2019 with variety of tracks with heavy bass, plenty of groove and intense sound pressure. A special, very techno-heavy session full of atmospheres and vocals.
