I've been lazy and haven't uploaded anything here for a while, but it's a Friday night, I'm listening to a Takaaki Ito set, and decided to take action. This mix was the last mix I ever recorded to tape; after recording this I went to Japan for the first time, procured a Mini-Disc recorder, and never looked back. Anyway, this mix further reflects my evolving style from back in the day and is much closer to how I would mix today (if I had access to some decks). It also contains one of my favourite mixes, which is close to the start of side B, so just after the halfway mark. From memory it's a mix out of a Joey Beltram remix of a Surgeon track on Tresor, into a Jeff Mills track on Axis (maybe Axis 18). There are other mixes I've done that I love, but after recording this tape I listened to it maybe hundreds of times so this particular one really sticks in my mind. Anyway, hope you like it, and I'll dedicate this upload to Ayako as she kindly paid an interest in my previous mixes.
