, Christopher A. Sawyer was born and raised in Harlem, NYC. As a child, he was deeply influenced by the burgeoning hip-hop scene and began dancing when he was 10 years old. He attended Manhattan’s LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts, made famous in the movie “Fame”. After graduation, he trained with the prestigious Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.

During the 1990s, Christopher’s skills allowed him to tour extensively with Mariah Carey, Salt & Pepa and Dru Hill, and he appeared in music videos by Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Jay-Z, Buster Rhymes, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Bounty Killer, MC Lyte, and Total among others.
