Welcome to the Christians In Rome podcast. My name is Joe Harrison, I’m 26 years old and—obviously—a born-again Christian. I received Jesus Christ as my Savior when I was 7, and my life (and faith) has been a rollercoaster ride ever since. And there are a lot of things that I believe God has been teaching me, and my hope is to be able to share with listeners some of what I believe I have learned. I am not seeking to teach because I know I am not qualified to do so. But like any of us can, I believe that I can help us find God and ourselves in a world of religious confusion. Being a self-taught Church historian, I would never make such an ignorant claim that things are worse for the Bride of Christ now than they ever have been. But I do believe things are pretty bad. And in this show I am seeking to pose and disect the questions: have we played a part in this mess—specifically here in the United States of America—and if so, what part?
